Nancy Nix, CPA, was appointed to the Butler County Auditor position on Feb 2, 2023, after serving almost 16 years as the Butler County Treasurer. Nancy is a former Middletown City Council member and Vice Mayor. She also worked in the private sector for 10 years as a manager at USBank and a staff accountant at Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. CPAs.
Nancy has an MBA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a BS in Accounting and Marketing from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. As the County Treasurer, she served six years on the CTAO board and served her entire tenure as Sec/Treas of the Southwest District Treasurer Association. Nancy instituted the Butler County Land Bank in 2012. She is active in the Butler County community and was named a West Chester/Liberty Chamber Alliance “Woman of Excellence” in 2021.
